The Dolphin Whisperer
Sweet Melody
This is one of my most favorite dolphin images. Dolphins love to play and are the most active when they wake from their morning slumber. Here, a really sweet dolphin has 'claimed' a floating Ti leaf on it's fin and is swimming joyously by. (Ti leaves are considered sacred by the Hawaiians). Always loving to interact with those around them, dolphins have on occassion swam in front of me and dropped a leaf inviting me to join their game. On one occassion I played the 'leaf game' with a lone dolpin for 45 minutes and felt a deep connection to the dolphins and nature. It was a moment I will always treasure.
